Race 1 Morguns Sweetheart enjoyed an easy, smooth rail ride the whole way; when taken off the cones, showed nothing. Not quite what I expected. Halfpipe stayed on stride, started first up past the half and gained cover past the 3/4. Something a program wont show you is he was uncovered for a good 3/8's and finished strong for second. Only a hard closing Sooner Than Later, who followed Halfipipe's cover the whole way, beat him.

Race 4 Whatnblazes went first over and gave it his all but came up a nose short. SJ's Super Star had a great trip with cover from Swan Image and Whatnblazes to get up for the win, while Swan Image, also in the outer tier, was a game second. My pick for the challenge was Whatnblazes so at least I'm alive for that, but my bankroll suffers it's first loss as Berto Keven broke early and SJ's Super Star spoiled my exacta. Keven will be a good bet in his next as he came back strong after the break but then tiring late. Likely low odds though.

Race 6 In Focus...loses his focus late down the stretches and finishes a faded third to Celebrity Hercules and All About Justice. Salutation Hanover took the night off for me and sat near the back with nothing at all. Whybabywhy was another one I felt strong about who didn't show tonight. Just sat dead last with absolutely nothing in the tank. 0 for 2 now and down a quick $80...back at it in the 9th!

Race 7 Linden Beauty probably needed that one after little bit of a layoff. Definitely a god play next week the way I see it. Semjac Legacy didn't do much after that mysterious break last week. Maybe something is a little off? Back to the front end tactics next week? China Gal finished behind a wall of horses for 9th I believe. My hunch play showed nothing, oh well. (Autumn Magic was flying home late. Look out next week?)

Race 8 After some suspicious betting from someone, putting $2,000 on 4 different horses, some of the odds were peculiar. One of my picks, Sauce Two K carved out the mile while my other pick, Definitely Mamie sat the perfect trip. Sauce faded to a strong 3rd place finish while Mamie benefited from the perfect trip with a win. The favorite, Beach Nut Brand, solidified my small track comment not being much of a factor in this race.

Race 9 Should have stuck with my original pick in the survivor challenge. Ridge Jumper jumps back to the winners circle with a brush and not so crush of the field holding off Leanback Coco in the shadow of the wire. Gerries Madison came late while the expected late charge of Artimittateslife was too late and flatter than expected. Mcflirty found her way to the front and kept at it for 3/4 of a mile until fading in the stretch. Natalie noticable needed that start after following Ridge Jumper but gaping a bit then also fading late in the stretch. One to watch in the coming weeks! And I'm 0 for 3 with Leanback Coco ruining my $.10 super. There's always tomorrow night though!

Race 10 Laughandbehappy just too good tonight. Cuz She Can gave a strong first over bid but came up short. Western Graduate was out for a joy ride just riding the cones seemingly having no interest in this race. Hope anyone who read my comments took the advice and passed because there was no money to be made here!

Race 11 Ain' She's Titan leaves, tucks, brushes to front then gets a pocket ride as Dink Adoo brushes to the lead past the half. The 12yo leads into the stretch drive but tires and fades while Ain' She's Titan rides up the rail for a second place finish by a nose to Proud Moment who enjoyed a nice cover trip.

Race 12 Haverford Hanover is put to a nice drive by Tetrick with a third over trip and a sweep down the lane for an easy, in hand win. Segundo Hanover had a perfect second over trip squandered by not showing up in the stretch while Third Day showed his face late, but too late! Sat at the back the whole race and then came home strong for 4th. A better post next week could prove to be the difference.
